Installation

1. Install Kalyway 10.5.2
2. Jika partisi tidak bisa diformat dengan HFS+, yang saya lakukan kemarin format full di WindowsXP (bukan quickFormat) dan mempartisi semua space dan memformatnya.
3. Jangan lupa include Pacifist pada saat install, di menu customize

Intel GMA 965 installation

1. Setelah selesai, start dengan -s, ketik sesuai dengan perintah untuk mengubah file, dan ketik /movevideodrivers. Tekan YES untuk confirm, bukan Y.
2. Exit, maka Mac OS akan restart
3. Ganti kernelnya menjadi vanillakernel
4. Install Natit.kext – caranya cari Natit.kext yang info.plist-nya ada 0x2a028086 dan 0x2a038086. Ini untuk GMA 965 Intel.
5. Cp -R Natit.kext ke /System/Library/Extensions
6. Chmod -R 755 /System/Library/Extensions/Natit.kext
7. Chown -R root:wheel /System/Library/Extension/Natit.kext
8. Copy kembali file-file yang tadi di /movevideodrivers.
9. Kemungkinan terburuk : install ulang.
9. Sesudah install ulang, tampilan jadi 1028X800

Battery installation

1. Dari direktori Mac OSX 10.5.2 Installation copy AppleACPIPlatform ke /System/Library/Extensions. Tapi sebelumnya copy dulu ke Destop. For some reason, ga bisa langsung dicopy dari FAT32 ke /System/Library/Extensions
2. Harusnya didalam /System/Library/Extensions/AppleACPIPlatform.kext/ yang baru sudah ada /Contents/PlugIns/AppleACPIPowerSource.kext
3. Kalo belum copy manual. Tapi pastikan bahwa AppleACPIPlatform.kextnya sama versinya, lihat di AppleACPIPowerSource.kext Info.plistnya ada yang menyebutkan versi AppleACPIPlatform.kext-nya.
4. Copy PowerManagement.bundle ke /System/Library/SystemConfiguration
5. Chmod -R 755 dan Chown -R root:wheel ke file tsb.
6. Jalankan OSXTools. Pilih Repair Permission, Set Extension Permission dan Clear Extensions Cache maupun User Application Cache dan Touch Extensions Folder
7. Jalankan System Preferences – Energy Saver harusnya ada Pilihan Show Battery
8. Kalau kasusnya sesudah itu ternyata Keyboard tidak berfungsi maka extract file AppleACPIPlatform.kext.10.5.3.orig.zip dan copy AppleACPIPlatformnya ke /System/Library/Extensions, tentu gunakan USB keyboard, dan repair permission – chmod/chown, reboot

1. Dengan Pacifist buka Open Apple Install Disc
2. Klik di Content of Network_Drivers – Content of Wifi_Cards – Content of wifi_Broadcom_airport_Broadcom – System – Library – Extension. Extract IO80211Family.kext ke Desktop.
3. Copy IO80211Family.kext dari Desktop ke /System/Library/Extensions
4. Masuk ke /System/Library/Extensions/Contents/Plugins/AppleAirPortBrcm4311.kext/Contents
5. Edit Info.plist – tambahkan/ubah 4315 disitu.
6. Chmod dan chown ke IO80211Family.kext
7. rm -rf /System/Library/Extensions.mkext
8. Reboot.

3. Insert Modemnya
4. Masuk ke Network Preferences

1. Extract AppleAirportBrcm4311.kext dari DVD Kalyway 10.5.2 (pake Pacifist). Kalo perlu dari IO802…kextnya.
2. Tambahkan 4315 di Info.plistnya
3. Repair permission pake OSX86tools.
4. Reboot. Done.

This tip does not require you to download utilities or hack the registry to do so however both are viable options to allow you to have transparent desktop icons. This tip uses the 2003 Server Network Operating System (NOS) to apply transparent desktop icons.

Follow the steps below to set transparent desktop icons:

1. From the Control Panel select open the System icon.
2. Next click the Advanced tab.
3. At the Performance leaf select Settings.
4. At the Performance Options page select “Adjust for best performance”.
5. To save you changes select “OK”.
6. Select “OK” once again to close the System properties and exit the control panel.

Karena tugas negara, saya harus mengubah XP saya menjadi 2003. Tapi tampilannya itu loh, sangat membosankan. Pengennya bisa pake theme. Eh, ternyata bisa. Tinggal nyalain theme service-nya dan kita bisa milih WindowsXP theme. Masalah Desktop Icon Text yang tidak transparant juga bisa mengubah setting dari Control Panel – System – Advanced – Performance – Settings – Pilih aja semua, atau dipilih-pilih yang mana sesuai selera.

Pengen Vista theme ? Tinggal download. Pertama jalanin Multi Patcher dulu. Terus download msstyles Vista yang disuka. Simpan ke C:\Windows\Resources\Themes.

Saya pake Vista13 dari CrystalXP.net. Hasilnya lumayan lah. Terus tinggal tambah sidebar. Saya pake punya Thoosje. And ubah wallpaper Aurora-Wallpaper.jpg.

Gak canggih-canggih amat sih, tapi lumayan. Jadinya ?

NTFS Mac Fuse dan NTFS+3g

1. Install MacFuse
2. Install NTFS+3g
3. Unmount volume, lewat disk utility
4. Create a mounted-volume
sudo mkdir /Volumes/winbook
5.Mount volume : ntfs-3g /dev/disk0s3 /Volumes/winbook -o local,volname=winbook
6.Create an Apple Script untuk auto-dismount
do shell script “sudo umount -f /Volumes/winbook” password “mypassword” with administrator privileges
7. Simpan sebagai application. (misal Umount.app)
8. Buat automator :
/Users/ardiaryono/Documents/Umount.app
mkdir /Volumes/Data2
ntfs-3g /dev/disk0s3 /Volumes/Data2 -o local,volname=Data2
mkdir /Volumes/Multimedia
ntfs-3g /dev/disk0s4 /Volumes/Multimedia -o local,volname=Multimedia
9. Simpan sebagai application
10. Open at login
